Senior Paralegal Specialist

Description:

The Contractor shall provide traditional legal support services to the FAA counsel at various stages of the New York-New Jersey Airspace Redesign Project. Support will consist of legal research, indexing, and document control, including but not be limited to reproducing, assembly, and organization of certain documents. The Contractor shall assist in the preparation and filing of the administrative record and index. When required by the Assistant Chief Counsel of the Airports/Environmental Law Division, the Contractor may provide legal research and case law on specific legal issues of concern. The Contractor for paralegal services must provide support services to the FAA’s legal review of the FAA’s Record of Decision on the New York-New Jersey Airspace Redesign Project. The Contractor will assist in preparing for all aspects of litigation related to the EIS project, including compilation of the administrative record and index to the record.

Qualifications:

Contractor will be expected to draw on Contractor’s experience in other litigation under the Administrative Procedure Act, NEPA and other environmental statutes, involving, among other issues, air quality, noise, compatible land use, biological resources, pollution, cultural resources, natural resources, socioeconomic effects, cumulative impacts, and environmental justice. The Contractor must have experience in Federal or administrative litigation.
